Tamboerskloof sits on the slopes below Lion’s Head and Signal Hill, a popular, walkable residential suburb with a mix of Victorian and Edwardian-era homes. Gardens here are generally more established than in the denser parts of the City Bowl closer to the CBD.
The sloped terrain means some properties have steep access, and mature trees at this elevation benefit from the higher rainfall closer to the mountain. Streets further up the slope, closer to Signal Hill, tend to have more established tree cover than those nearer the CBD boundary.
We see a good mix of routine trimming and full removals in Tamboerskloof, typical of a well-settled, walkable suburb with decades of established gardens.
Whether it’s a steep hillside property or a flatter street closer to town, we start every Tamboerskloof job with a free, honest assessment.
